Our Story
We wish for you to share in some of our Grace, so you too can find it – Joy infused and Divinely inspired – in your own Life.
1919
Origins
Originally known as Morgado, meaning “dear”, Amrapali • House of Grace was built a century ago by Casimiro Honorato de Siqueira Nazare for his wife Maria Gracias and their five children. In this home the family lived and loved for many years.
Transformation
2014
In 2014 the restoration of Amrapali began with the vision for it to be a space where one returns to their innate peaceful and joyful nature. The original structure was respected and recreated wherever possible. Local artisans were engaged and encouraged to custom make every detail seen in this exquisite home.
